The Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Anthony W. Aversano & Billy Schnepper was formed as a Swing Band extension of the Fairfax Wind Symphony, founded by director Stan Schoonover in the fall of 1999. The Fairfax Swing Jazz Ensemble performs numerous “Big Band” selections from the 1940’s to the 2000’s for your listening and dancing pleasure.
